Economic interdependence in the productive structure of Sonora 2013: an input-output approach
Abstract
The goal of this paper is to identify the relationships of economic interdependence in the economic structure of Sonora based on input output table (IOT) of 2013. For this, sectoral indicators of specialization and growth are calculated, as well as multisectoral measures of multipliers and linkages. The results show that there are key primary and industrial activities to develop the economic structure and take advantage of their interdependent relationships as a way to increase the possibilities of growth and sectoral development in the state. Hence, multisectoral approach to the design of regional policies is fundamental.
