Abstract

The objective of the text is to simulate the dynamic input output model adapted by Johnson (1986) by combining the input output approach with the methodology of Dynamic Systems for the analysis of Ecological-Economic System. For the simulation of the model we use the software Stella that allows to realize a programming by objects very simple, versatile and intuitive. As an illustration of the usefulness of the model simulation, we calculate the dynamic production multipliers for the economy of Coahuila in certain years selected between 2015 and 2035. The state authorities are interested in knowing how a set of policies designed to reduce total gas emissions Greenhouse Effect (GHG) affect the volume of local production. From the point of view of local environmental planning, it is very useful to know the magnitude, sectorial composition, and times of occurrence of such environmental policy impacts.
