The post-keynesian paradigm: precepts, state of the art and vision of the economy
Abstract
Considering the lack of pluralism in economics’ teaching and predominance of an economic theory with very distant assumptions from reality and its exclusive, hermetic and unchangeable position towards any other contribution with a different economic perspective this article seeks to introduce the reader to Post Keynesian principles, presenting concise concepts on his current economic position and the actual state of the art as a critic and alternative to mainstream economic analysis. A taxonomy of the Post Keynesian School is made to differentiate it from the dominant orthodox approach and finally it explains the notion of the monetary economy of production.
