JOURNAL OF ECONOMICS FACULTY OF ECONOMY AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF YUCATAN

The Journal of Economics is an arbitrated publication that aims to disseminate the results of theoretical and empirical scientific research that address economic issues from different territorial scales (local, regional, national and international) and from various theoretical-methodological approaches. It is a means of reflection and access to knowledge of the academic community at national and international level and the interested public. The postulated articles are ruled by the double blind peer regime. The types of articles published in the journal are: articles of empirical studies, review articles, theoretical articles or methodological articles. The journal adheres to the ethics criteria established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It is a biannual publication in the months of April and November and accepts articles in Spanish and English languages. Articles are published in PDF and XML format. Editorial policies include zero charges for postulation of articles. Additionally, there are no charges for processing accepted articles for publication in the journal. Nor are fees charged for accessing and downloading the content of published articles. The economics journal is edited and sponsored by the Faculty of Economics of the Autonomous University of Yucatán
